Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Applicability

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases and yearly renewals of software licences offered by ArthaMatrix Technologies LLP through arthamatrix.com.

2. Cancellation Before Activation

If payment has been successfully made but the licence has not been activated or used, you may request cancellation within 48 hours from the time of payment.

Upon approval, the eligible amount will be refunded through the original payment method.

3. No Refund After Activation or Use

As the software is a digital product, a refund will ordinarily not be available once:

  • the licence has been activated;
  • the software has been downloaded, installed or accessed using the purchased licence; or
  • paid functionality has been used.

Refunds will not ordinarily be provided merely because you:

  • changed your mind;
  • purchased the wrong plan;
  • no longer require the software;
  • failed to check compatibility requirements; or
  • expected a feature not included in the purchased plan.

4. Refund in Case of Technical Failure

A refund may be considered where:

  • payment is successful but the licence is not delivered or activated;
  • duplicate payment is made;
  • the purchased licence cannot be used due to a verified technical defect attributable to ArthaMatrix; or
  • ArthaMatrix permanently discontinues the paid service during the active licence period without providing a reasonable alternative.

Before issuing a refund, we may attempt to resolve the issue through support, corrected activation, replacement licence or software update.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will ordinarily not be issued for issues arising from:

  • incorrect, incomplete or corrupted accounting or Tally data;
  • errors in financial statements resulting from input data or user classification;
  • lack of professional review of generated outputs;
  • failure of the customer's computer, operating system or internet connection;
  • changes or issues in third-party software;
  • breach of licence terms or unauthorised sharing of the software.

6. Annual Renewal

Each licence is valid for one year unless otherwise specified.

Renewal is not automatic. You must purchase renewal separately before or after expiry to continue using the software.

A renewal licence, once activated or used, will be subject to the same refund conditions as an initial licence purchase.

7. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, email arthamatrixllp@gmail.com with:

  • your name and registered email address;
  • invoice number and transaction reference;
  • licence purchased or renewed;
  • reason for requesting refund; and
  • relevant screenshots or supporting details, where applicable.

8. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds will ordinarily be initiated within 7 business days of approval.

The time required for the amount to reflect in your bank account, card or UPI account will depend on the payment gateway and banking system.

Where applicable, a credit note or tax adjustment document will be issued in accordance with GST law.
